Joe La Paglia has been the Mayor of Woodcliff Lake since 2004. As Mayor, Joe has focused on controlling property taxes, encouraging appealing commercial and residential development, and improving recreational facilities at the Old Mill Park and Recreation Area, as well as delivering more cost effective municipal services.
He was first elected to the Woodcliff Lake Council in 1980. Later he he served on the Planning Board for 16 years, most of that time as Chairman or Vice-Chairman. Joe was elected for Mayor in 2003 and re-elected in 2007.
A retired senior executive and Certified Public Accountant, he holds an Accounting Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University. His 40 plus year career as a financial executive for prominent international accounting firms and large and mid-sized corporations culminated in his position as President of Annin Flagmakers. Joe and his wife Margaret have lived in Woodcliff Lake since 1973 where they raised their two daughters, Christine and Amy.
It is Joe's commitment to family, his management ability and his talent for bringing people together that has served the people of Woodcliff Lake so well.

Jeff Hoffman has brought fresh ideas and a strong work ethic to the Woodcliff Lake Borough Council. He is a member of the borough's Parks and Recreation Department, and has been involved in town sports for eight years. He volunteers for town events including Woodcliff Lake Day and events at Dorchester and Woodcliff Schools, Run for Education, and National Night Out.
Jeff has lived in Woodcliff Lake for 10 years, is married to Amy Hoffman, and is the father of two girls who attend Woodcliff Lake Schools. He has lived in the area for 35 years. Jeff is a graduate of New York University, and as part of his studies completed an internship in the Correspondence Department at the White House, which he credits with inspiring him to public service. On the council, Jeff is liaison to Park and Rec, Fire Department, and Shade Tree committees. Jeff led the Borough on the consolidation of the Municipal Court with Montvale and Park Ridge, a shared service that will save Woodcliff Lake residents for years to come. He also helped get the Lydecker Toddler Park done and created a indoor use for the home.
Jeff Hoffman has taken great pleasure in the past three years as a council member in Woodcliff Lake. Being a council liaison for Parks and Recreation has been a fun and rewarding job. With two girls in the Woodcliff Lake schools, it has taken his involvement as a coach and girls Softball Association member to a new level, working on such events as Woodcliff Lake Day, Run for Education, and the D.A.R.E. National Night Out. Each of these events has built solid relationships with different organizations in town: police, fire, and school.
Jeff is also an active volunteer with the pet rescue organization, The Last Resort. He has fostered more than 20 dogs, participated in the group's adoption events, and helped review prospective adopters and place dogs in good homes.

Joe Langschultz and his wife, Lynn, have lived in Woodcliff Lake for ten years. They have two adult children, Joe Jr., and Keri, and four grandchildren.
A lifelong resident of Bergen County, Joe has a proven track record of public service: prior to moving to Woodcliff Lake, he served as a Councilman in New Milford. He was a member of the Budget Committee, served on the Planning Board, and acted as Council liaison for Building and Grounds, Public Events and Senior Citizens. Joe also volunteered his time as a Little League Coach and Board Member. Joe currently serves on the Woodcliff Lake Planning Board.
Joe Langschultz served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and was in the Naval Reserves for 16 years before being called up for active duty after the terror attack on 9/11/01. He is a member of the Woodcliff Lake V.F.W., and was a Past American Legion Commander of River Edge, Post 226. Joe is a third generation electrician and a member of IBEW Local 164.
Joe understands the challenges facing residents-young families and seniors alike-who want to keep our town an affordable, enviable place to live and raise a family. As Councilman, Joe Langschultz will continue to build upon his many years of his dedicated public service, and bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to our governing body.
